Urja Child Development Centre is the First Multi- Disciplinary Team in South Gujarat, which specialises in Autism Intervention. It was pioneered in by Dr. Swati Vinchurkar in Nov 2006, soon to be joined by Clinical Psychologist Ms. Bhavna Raja. It was inspired by the Child Guidance Clinic created by our respected Senior Paediatrician Dr. Bipin Desai. It has grown to 25-member strong team over the years. We cater to an average of 15000 therapy sessions in an year.

To provide all necessary one to one therapy services

To provide prevocational and vocational training services in small groups

To conduct training workshops for therapists, teachers in specific skill areas

To provide internship and observer programs to graduates and school students respectively.

To conduct parent training programs

To conduct community awareness programs on parenting skills, mental health and developmental disorders.
