Physical Therapy
Helping children move, play, and grow with confidence
At Sadbhaav Child Development Foundation, we provide Physical Therapy support for children who have difficulty with movement, coordination, or motor skills.
The goal is to help every child become as independent and confident as possible in their daily life — whether it’s sitting, walking, playing, or participating in school activities. Physical therapy is not just for children with visible physical challenges. It can also benefit those who are slower in reaching motor milestones or show signs of poor balance, posture, or body control.

When to Consider It
Parents or teachers may notice signs like:
- The child is not sitting, crawling, or walking at the expected age
- Frequent falls or poor balance
- Difficulty in climbing stairs, jumping, or running
- Muscle stiffness or weakness
- Unusual walking patterns (such as toe-walking)
- Trouble holding upright posture for long
Early therapy can make a significant difference by strengthening the muscles and improving mobility over time.
How We Work
Our physical therapy sessions are handled by qualified professionals who specialize in working with children. Each child first undergoes an individual assessment to understand their current physical abilities and challenges.
Based on the findings, a customized therapy plan is prepared, which may include:
- Strength-building exercises
- Balance and coordination activities
- Stretching routines
- Gait training (to improve walking patterns)
- Play-based motor activities
- Use of therapy equipment, when needed
Sessions are kept playful, engaging, and age-appropriate, so the child feels motivated and comfortable. We involve parents as much as possible, offering tips and exercises that can be done at home.
Support Beyond the Session
We don’t see therapy as just an hour-long session — it’s a part of a child’s overall growth journey. That’s why we work closely with families to:
- Monitor progress over time
- Adjust therapy goals based on development
- Provide advice for making daily activities easier at home and school
- Coordinate with schools or other therapists if required
At Sadbhaav Child Development Foundation, our focus is not just on physical improvement but on building the child’s confidence, independence, and participation in everyday life.
